John had a night where he ordered pizza and wings and is trying to find some of what Janet Jackson sings about, Control!

Emily has a list of fun new ideas she’s tried the past week to get happy, get cooking, and get warm.

We really go off on some tangents this week, but John has decided to bring more energy to the show, and Emily tries to remember her pun skills.

  • John Bukenas is a podcast editor from New Jersey. He started the podcast doing keto and intermittent fasting, but is now gearing up for bariatric surgery (probably) later this summer.
  • Emily Prokop is a podcast editor and consultant from Connecticut. She has been doing Intermittent Fasting since April 2018 and has lost about 70 pounds. She started with 16:8 and is now doing 18:6.

  • Emily reads the symptoms of Seasonal Affective Disorder and it’s sounding pretty familiar to us.
  • Emily got a HappyLight to help with SAD.
  • Bed, Bath & Beyond is the best!
  • Emily has also fallen in love with Ready Chef Go bags that are so easy to cook!
  • She has also started enjoying green tea and wait until you find out what “Russian Novel Hour” is and how wonderful it is!
  • If you taste too much fish when you take Fish Oil, drink more water!
  • We went LOOOONG this week, including two weeks’ worth of #WinningWednesdays!
